The Maclaren Twin Techno could be called the Boy Scout Special, since their motto is “Be Prepared,” and that is what the TT will help you to be. Like the Scouts, this stroller originates in the U.K., where the wet and whacky weather undoubtedly influenced its design and features.
It starts with a rust-resistant high grade aluminum frame, bolstering sturdy construction throughout. The weather consciousness continues with independent water resistant hoods, not simply canopies, and a complete rain cover! The wheels now feature hub caps, to keep water off of the hardware, preventing corrosion. All this is part of a stroller with top of the line features, from removable and washable seats, ergonomic handle, high performance wheels, and quick fold design. The generous storage will allow you to “be prepared” and even comes with mosquito nets tucked inside! This side by side is narrow enough to fit through standard doorways, though some may find it makes the seats a bit tight for larger children.
